Science journalist Justin Nobel has spent the past 20 months reporting on the issue of the radioactivity brought to the surface in oil and gas production, and the many different pathways of contamination posed to the industry’s workers, the public, communities, and the environment. He will speak about his finding published in the February issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Joining Justin will be Youngstown Senior Fire Battalion Chief Sil Caggiano. Chief Caggiano has served the citizens of Youngstown and Mahoning County for over 37 years receiving numerous professional recognitions. He will share his concerns over the danger to both first responders and residents from the fracking industry. Free and open to the public.
