Federal and State Policy Changes Needed
Ashtabula County’s Commissioners and Township Trustees all passed resolutions in July 2015, calling for a moratorium on new injection well permits until better regulation is in place to control toxic fracking wastewater. Local officials are doing what they can. Now, we just need our state and federal officials on board. Contact your elected officials and tell them to stop fracking, stop injection wells, and institute bioremediation plans to clean up toxins in our watershed.
